In addition to the spring pilgrimage, the Christmas Tour of Homes takes place annually on the first Saturday of December. During this enchanting event, guests can stroll through historic homes decorated in festive style, capturing the spirit of “Christmas Past” and “Christmas Present.”

The Shorter Mansion: A Historic Treasure

Designed by Eli Sims Shorter II and his wife, Wileyna Lamar Shorter, the mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
Located in the Seth Lore and Irwinton Historic District, the Shorter Mansion is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visitors can explore its stunning interiors and learn about its place in Eufaula’s rich history.
