Visitors are encouraged to use the nearby pipeline (northeast), also known as the Loch Raven Shist Trail (Gray), or the Baltimore Gneiss Trail (Purple) to complete their hike.

Additionally, the Orange Trail, located behind the lake, is also closed due to similar issues. The Oregon Ridge Nature Center Council is actively advocating for the repair of these damaged trails, ensuring that they will be accessible again soon.
