The Importance of Preservation

By saving landmarks, PAST ensures that significant aspects of our history are not lost to time. These structures provide glimpses into craftsmanship and lifestyles from eras now past, maintaining a sense of place and heritage for future generations.
Economic Impact
Historic preservation can be more cost-effective than demolition. Many renovation projects qualify for financial incentives, which can ease the burden on local budgets. Additionally, historic districts attract visitors and potential residents, catalyzing economic development in the area.
