Discovering the Vermilion Historical Society: Preserving Our Shared Heritage
The Vermilion Historical Society, located in Abbeville, Louisiana, plays a crucial role in preserving the rich history of Vermilion Parish and its surrounding areas. The Society’s dedication to education and preservation is further showcased through its third publication, “Journeys Into the Past—Abbeville, Louisiana: The Early Years,” authored by renowned historian Kenneth A. Dupuy.
