Museum of American Heritage: A Journey Through Technological Innovation
The Museum of American Heritage (MOAH) is a unique destination located in Palo Alto, California. It stands out as the Bay Area’s only museum exclusively focused on the history of technological innovation from 1750 to 1950. Current and Upcoming Exhibitions
MOAH hosts a variety of exhibitions that showcase the evolution of technology. Currently, the museum features the exhibition Find Your Way: Navigation Tools Large and Small, which is open now until January 2025. This exhibition highlights the various instruments and methods humans have used for navigation throughout history.
In addition to current exhibits, MOAH is excited to announce the upcoming exhibition Just for the Record: Classic Players & Phonographs! This will run from October 18, 2024, to March 2, 2025. It promises to take visitors on an auditory journey through the evolution of music playback devices.
Another exhibition, Making Music, will open on October 18, 2024, and run into the spring of 2025. This exhibition aims to celebrate the tools and technologies that have made making music more accessible to everyone.

MOAH also hosts events, such as the 20th Annual Holiday Show featuring LEGO®, in collaboration with BayLUG and BayLTC. This year, the event takes place from December 7th to January 11th. Admission is affordable, at just $4 per person (cash only), while MOAH members enjoy free entry.
