Since its opening in January 2005, the museum has welcomed over 34,000 visitors annually, thanks to its innovative approach to learning.

History and Growth

The museum first opened its doors in 1996 in a small strip mall. In 2004, a successful capital campaign enabled them to renovate a historic commercial building in downtown Santa Maria. This transformation allowed the museum to expand its reach and services, providing a nurturing space for children to learn through hands-on play.
