Holiday Events at the Monument

This holiday season, the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument is hosting a special event called “Patriotic Santa.” This free public event provides an opportunity for visitors to meet a historically accurate Civil War Santa, reminiscent of illustrations from Harper’s Weekly. Guests can take photos with Santa using their personal devices on select dates: November 30 (11:00 am to 6:00 pm), December 7 (11:00 am to 2:00 pm), and December 14 (11:00 am to 2:00 pm).
