A Rich Aviation Heritage
For over a generation, Wright “B” Flyer Inc. has celebrated the pioneering spirit of Wilbur and Orville Wright. The Model B, produced in 1910, marked the establishment of America’s first airplane factory in Dayton, Ohio. The museum has recently completed a modern lookalike of this iconic aircraft, affectionately named the “White Bird.” This project aims to ensure the continuation of their mission for future generations. Though initially planned for completion at the original factory site, a fire at the restoration location forced the team to finish the work at their current hangar on Springboro Road in Miamisburg.
