Discover the Oregon John Deere Museum Foundation
Located in the picturesque town of Boring, Oregon, the Oregon John Deere Museum Foundation offers a unique glimpse into agricultural history and heritage. Holiday Sparkles Event
This December, join the Oregon John Deere Museum Foundation for its 5th Annual Holiday Sparkles event, held on three weekends:
- December 7 & 8
- December 13, 14, & 15
- December 20, 21, & 22
The event runs from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and invites families to enjoy the beautifully decorated grounds. This is a free admission event, although monetary donations are gladly accepted to support the museum’s ongoing operations. Attendees will have the chance to drive through the park’s festive displays and even visit with Santa.
Upcoming Events at Powerland Heritage Park
Powerland Heritage Park is alive with activities from April to September, welcoming visitors to explore its vast collection of museums and historical displays. The campus houses 14 independent museums that celebrate the history of steam-powered machinery, logging equipment, and much more. The park’s hours are Wednesday to Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
One of the park’s premier events is “The Great Oregon Steam-Up,” which brings together enthusiasts from across the region. Celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2025, this event will feature a showcase of logging equipment and tractors from the Northwest and West Coast. Mark your calendars for July 26 & 27 and August 2 & 3, 2025, to experience this extraordinary event that has won “Best Annual Event” at the Best of the Willamette Valley Awards for three consecutive years.
