While pets are not allowed on the Paradise Springs or Scuppernong Springs Nature Trails, they are welcome on other trails if kept on a physical leash of no more than eight feet. Self-guided nature trail booklets can be obtained at the Forest Headquarters/Natural History Museum, the trailheads, as well as Ottawa Lake and Whitewater Lake contact stations.
